General Terms and Conditions of Use
1. Identifying Data
Scalabl Global Limited (hereinafter, “Scalabl”), headquartered at Innovation Centre, Gallows Hill, Warwick, CV34 6UW, United Kingdom, is a global consulting and training company, specializing in business, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Scalabl offers third parties the so-called “Course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (hereinafter, the “Course”), which is currently delivered online (hereinafter, “Online Course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation” or “Online Course”) in Spanish, English, or Portuguese, through the website www.scalabl.com (hereinafter, the “Website”).
The Course, both in its currently imparted online modality and its face-to-face modalities, which have been previously offered or may be delivered in the future, is addressed to entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and professionals, and is based on a robust methodology for the development of highly profitable and scalable business models, which can be applied to the design of a new company or business unit, or to the restructuring of an existing company.
Scalabl's Global Community of Graduates (hereinafter, the “Scalabl Global Community”, “Community” or “Network”) is formed by all the people who, having graduated from the Course, regardless of what institution has marketed it and having been admitted by Scalabl Global Limited, acquire the status of “Member” and voluntarily decide to accept and to belong to the Network (hereinafter, collectively referred to as “Members” or “Community Members”).
By registering for the Course, you are entrusting us with information and accepting the practices outlined below. Hereinafter, you will be referred to as the “User”, or jointly as the “Users” of the Course.

2. Acceptance
Access to the Course is subject to acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions established below (hereinafter, the “Terms and Conditions”), together with your agreement to the Privacy Policy.
As a requirement to enter the Course, the User agrees to provide Scalabl information regarding their identity, including, but not limited to, first name and family name, ID or passport number, address, age, telephone number, nationality, personal and/or professional email address, profession, academic background, and/or any other information that Scalabl deems necessary to identify them (hereinafter, the “Personal Information”).
The Personal Information will be requested from the User through the upload of an online registration form (hereinafter, the “Registration Form”).
The Terms and Conditions may be subject to modifications, which will become effective after they are published on the Website, and we will inform you of said situation.
If you do not agree with the new Terms and Conditions you can request your withdrawal from the Course, terminating your contractual relationship with Scalabl.
3. Access to the Course
The User will access the Course through a personal account specifically created by Scalabl (the “Account”). It is worth mentioning that Scalabl only grants the User a non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable use license to access the Course.
Finally, we clarify that Scalabl is not bound to provide any type of equipment or software to access the Course. Users must procure for themselves all the necessary resources to that end, including telecommunication resources.
4. Course Price and Payment
The price of the Course may be fixed in the legal currency of the country where the Course is given and/or in US Dollars, always at Scalabl's discretion.
Payment must be made by bank transfer to the account that Scalabl timely communicates and/or through the online payment platform or payment means enabled by Scalabl to that end, depending on the country where the Course is given and always at Scalabl's discretion.
The price of the Course may include the value-added tax or the one that in the future replaces it, as well as any other tax, levy, or contribution, which is applicable or that in the future may be imposed by the government authorities of the country in which the Course will be given.
5. Mention as a Scalabl Graduate, “Member” or “Alumni”
The User consents that any opinion and/or testimonial, and/or interview about their experience in the Course may be published and/or shared on the Website. In such case, we hereby inform you that, eventually, you may be identified with full name, photo, comment, profession, and/or nationality, either on the Website and/or on Social Networks and/or in any other media at the discretion of Scalabl, in a worldwide, unrestricted, express, total, irrevocable manner and without time limit.
6. Social Media Policy
Scalabl has corporate profiles and/or private groups on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram, Pinterest, and TikTok (hereinafter, the “Social Networks”). It is worth mentioning that Scalabl is not responsible for the comments and/or content and/or links published on the Social Networks by Users or Community Members, nor for the information that is indexed by the said networks and that is related to other websites.
In addition, Scalabl is not liable for damages of any nature that may be due to the lack of accuracy, thoroughness, timeliness, as well as to errors or omissions in the information contained in Social Networks, or in other content that can be accessed through them.
It is clarified that Scalabl has the broadest powers to accept and/or suspend and/or remove any user from any of the Social Networks in the event of any breach of the provisions of the "Code of Conduct" or of the "Manifesto of what we value and agree at Scalabl Global Limited and its Global Graduate Community" (hereinafter, the "Manifesto").
7. Suspension and/or Expulsion of the User from the Course
Scalabl reserves the right to suspend or terminate your participation in the Course in the following cases:
- When you have submitted to Scalabl information regarding your personal details that cannot be confirmed or that is false or inaccurate.
- When you make improper use of the Course for illegal, abusive, and/or slanderous purposes, and/or to facilitate or promote activities in competition with Scalabl.
- When the User fails to comply with any provision of the Manifesto and is punished with the penalty of expulsion.
- When, at Scalabl's discretion, the security of the Course is at risk, or in the event of another perceived risk against the security of the information contained therein.
- When, at Scalabl's discretion, some other serious event occurs that justifies the decision to temporarily or permanently suspend the User from the Course.
If any of the aforementioned situations occurs, the User waives to claim from Scalabl and/or its Directors, and/or Shareholders any compensation in their favor and/or promote any type of claim for damages, lost profits, punitive damages, loss of chances, and/or any mediate consequence or indirect damage derived from any circumstance related to their enrollment and participation in the Course and/or the Global Community.
8. Industrial and Intellectual Property
All the contents that are part of the Course (information, articles, data, texts, logos, icons, images, external appearance, look and feel, sounds, audio, video, designs, creativities, software, etc.) belong to Scalabl or are exploited under licenses granted by third parties who are the holders of the intellectual property rights of the said contents and are protected by the applicable legislation in matters of industrial and intellectual property.
Any reproduction, transmission, adaptation, translation, modification, communication to the public, or any other exploitation of all or part of the content of the Course made in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, or other, is strictly forbidden, except in the event of prior authorization in writing from Scalabl or third party holders. Any violation of these rights may give rise to the corresponding extrajudicial or judicial, civil, or criminal proceedings.
Scalabl does not grant any license of use or authorization of any kind on its intellectual and industrial property rights or on any other property or right related to the Course, the services, or the contents thereof.
All reading and/or study, and/or learning materials provided during the Course and the authorship of which does not correspond to third parties are the exclusive property of Scalabl (hereinafter, the “Reading Material”).
The User acknowledges that Scalabl owns all intellectual property rights over the Reading Material (including, but not limited to copyright) in a worldwide, unrestricted, express, total, irrevocable manner, and without time limit.
9. Liability Exemption. Reserves
In no case will Scalabl be liable to the User nor to the Community Members for lost profits, loss of chances, and/or any mediate consequence or indirect damage derived from any circumstance that is related to their participation in the Course and/or in the Global Community.
In this sense, the User consents that the Course is given exclusively for educational purposes.
Scalabl reserves the right to modify the structure of the Course at the opportunity and in the condition it deems appropriate and convenient.
10. Security Measures
Scalabl cares about defending the right to privacy of the Users and of the Community Members. Therefore, during the Course, it adopts all the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the security and integrity of the Personal Information in its system against unauthorized access and also against accidental alteration, loss, or destruction.
Users are informed that their data will be stored in a cloud service and will be protected by security systems that prevent access to them by unauthorized third parties.
Scalabl makes its best efforts to have the most up-to-date systems for the effectiveness of these security systems during the Course.
Despite the foregoing, the absolute security of the Personal information provided cannot be guaranteed since the use of technologies is precisely subject to risks derived from the use of them, especially by third parties, Scalabl not being able to prevent hackers, software pirates, or other parties from attempting attacks against our systems.
11. Release of Image Rights
The User gives his consent and authorizes Scalabl to totally or partially use their photograph obtained when registering for the Course and/or any image captures or recordings of live sessions on Zoom and/or networking events for presentation under any legal condition, including but not limited to publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising, and web content.
Likewise, the User authorizes Scalabl to include and edit the images during the issuance of institutional advertising, and execute any other action aimed at disseminating it, without restrictions or time limits. The User understands and agrees that no royalty, fee, or other compensation shall become payable to them by reason of such use.
The User may revoke this authorization at any time by notifying Scalabl by email at [email protected]. The revocation will not affect any actions taken before the receipt of this written notification. Images will be stored in a secure location and only authorized staff will have access to them. They will be kept as long as they are relevant and after that time destroyed or archived.
12. Miscellanea
Transfer of rights: no rights granted to the User by virtue of these Terms and Conditions may be assigned to third parties.
Partial exercise: the partial exercise of a right by Scalabl will not prevent it from being exercised again later and more fully.
Nullity or voidability: if any of the clauses of these Terms and Conditions is null or void, such declaration will not invalidate the rest of the Terms and Conditions, which will maintain their validity and effectiveness.
Notifications: all notifications to be made within the framework of these Terms and Conditions must be channeled in writing to the following emails, namely: (I) Scalabl [email protected] and (ii) the User to the email address provided in the Registration Form.
Applicable law and jurisdiction: the Terms and Conditions will be governed and construed pursuant to the laws of the Argentine Republic. In the event of differences of interpretation and/or discrepancies between Scalabl and the User that generate controversy in relation to their responsibilities, rights, and/or obligations, Scalabl and the User will agree to make their best effort so that, acting in good faith, such disputes can be settled and resolved in an amicable, agile, and diligent manner. In the event that the dispute is not resolved, Scalabl and the User will submit to the ordinary jurisdiction of the Commercial Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
13. Legal Texts that Complete the Terms and Conditions
This document is an integral part of and is complemented by the rest of the legal policies applicable to the Website, such as the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy, without prejudice to the fact that it could be supplemented with other texts that, where appropriate, would be published on the Website.
Likewise, this document is complemented by the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy that are specific to Teachable, the platform that hosts the course.
